When it comes to horses, a great place to start is 100 milligrams. That is a full dropper of our All Animals Tincture and 2 scoops of our CBD pellets
If your horse has serious arthritis or stress and worry then you should start with double that dose. Horses can use either product, it really comes down to what method is easier for you to give them. The CBD pellets can be added to grain or given by hand. The CBD tincture can be added to a treat and given by hand or on their grain.
Give the desired starting dose to your horse for at least 2 weeks to gauge their reaction to it. From there you can keep it the same or increase or decrease the dose as needed. We recommend finding a daily maintenance dose that works best for your horse. Once you know that, you can increase their dose for any flares of arthritis, an acute injury or a stress inducing event.
