If you have made the switch from our CBD horse pellets to our CBD All Animals Tincture (or are thinking about it) here are some tips to help you figure out what dose to give:
First let’s breakdown how many milligrams (mg) of CBD are in various amounts of each product. 2 scoops of the pellets have 25-30 mg of CBD. 1 dropper or 1 milliliter (ml) of the tincture has 83 mg of CBD. Half a dropper of the tincture has 41.5g mg, 0.75 ml has 60 mg and a quarter of a dropper or .25 ml has about 20 mg of CBD.
The easiest way to figure out how much of the tincture to give is to figure out how many mg your horse is getting of the pellets. You’ll find this based on how many scoops you are giving. Based on the above numbers, 4 scoops is 50-60 mg of CBD so you would give anywhere between half a dropper (0.5 ml) and 0.75 ml of the tincture. Don’t worry, the dropper has the measurements marked on it! If you have your horse’s dose established, making the switch is super easy! Just give them the same amount of mg.
