CBD products are everywhere and it feels impossible to choose the right one. Here are some quick tips to pick the best CBD product.
- Look for products with at least 1,000 mg in the entire product. Stay away from products with less than that because broken down into individual doses, you won’t be getting much CBD to see a benefit
- Be sure the company performs independent 3rd party lab tests or certificates of analysis (COA) and shares those results–they should test for CBD and THC concentrations, heavy metals, molds and pesticides at the least
- The hemp should be sourced in the USA and ideally grown organically or naturally–it is really hard to get hemp USDA certified organic, so many companies can not make that claim, if they do it is because of the carrier oil in the product
- Carrier oils should be either MCT oil, coconut oil, hemp seed oil or olive oil
- Avoid products with added flavors
- Avoid companies who make claims because this is illegal. Claims look like “Guaranteed to help with” “Solves ___” “Proven to improve”
