CBD salve for horses and any other furry animal isn’t worth it. Sure, you may get some benefit but the fur really gets in the way of full absorption—plus there is a high chance your pet might lick it off or it will become encased with dirt.
Instead, we recommend using an oral form of CBD for your horse or other pet. Our tincture and pellets are wonderful options–check them out here.
CBD salves and tropicals are best used in humans for sore muscles and joints and even then, using CBD orally is a much better option. Or use the two together for a one two punch! However, when it comes to our pets salves and tropicals just don’t work as well as we would hope.
